Your library stays yours.
This page describes the current Orally approach. We will update it before public release with the final legal terms and data disclosures.
Launch waitlist
If you join our waitlist, we store your email address, signup time and consent to send launch and early-access news. This information is stored using Cloudflare infrastructure. Email support@orally.app to unsubscribe from launch news or request removal. We process these requests manually. Short-lived hashed network identifiers help limit automated signups.
What Orally analyzes
Orally builds a local catalogue from the photos, videos and files you choose. Local search, person-reference matching, face matching and search history run or remain on your device. If you choose cloud assistance, the app sends search descriptions, small photo previews, sampled video frames and object-reference previews to Google Gemini through our Supabase backend. Candidate previews may contain people. Gemini checks visible details and may make mistakes; it is not used to identify people. You can choose on-device search instead and stop future cloud uploads in Settings. An already-sent request cannot be recalled. Google processes submitted content under its applicable paid-service terms, including limited retention for abuse monitoring.
Accounts and email
If you create an account, Supabase handles authentication and account metadata. Verification and recovery messages are delivered through Resend. Your email address is used to operate the account and support the service.
Website analytics
This website includes Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate website performance and usage measurement. The deployed website code does not include session-replay or keystroke-recording software, or requests to Google Fonts servers.
Your choices
You can control Photos and Files permissions through your device, clear local search history, remove imported collections, and request account deletion. Contact support@orally.app with questions.
Before launch
The final policy will include the legal entity, retention details, processor list, and applicable rights before Orally is submitted to an app store.
